Animas Museum will celebrate La Plata County’s 150th birthday on Saturday (Feb. 10) at the museum, 3065 W. Second Ave.
The museum will be opening a new exhibit, and there will be birthday cake all day.
The Aztec Museum and Pioneer Village will unveil the newly-commissioned watercolor painting of the Aztec Train Depot and locomotive 495 by local artist Jeff Ellingson.
Ellingson, who now lives in Farm.
