There’s still time left to register your children for the YMCA of Washington County’s annual Children’s Christmas Bazaar. The shopping event is being held by appointment only this year, with 30 minute time slots being reserved from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. tomorrow, and only one parent or guardian allowed per child. Marketing and Fundraising Director Angie Goodwin says children 12 years old and younger can purchase up to 10 gift items, and they will be assisted during the entire activity, “Our elves are the people that volunteer that help the children do their shopping and kind of keep them on task, and then we also have elves that help wrap the gifts. So as the children purchase their gifts they, actually after they’ve purchased them, they go through a wrapping station and elves help them wrap all their gifts.
