LANAO DEL NORTE, May 26 (PIA) Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo personally received the Gawad sa Kaunlaran award given by the Armed Forces of the Philippines - Western Mindanao Command.
The plaque of recognition was formally handed by Col. Rey Alemania, commanding officer of the 2nd Mechanized Brigade of the Philippine Army on Tuesday, May 25.
The Gawad sa Kaunlaran was awarded to Governor Angging for her meritorious and invaluable achievements in the pursuit of socioeconomic and other non-combatant activities in Lanao del Norte.
It also recognized her active participation, innovative actions, and humanitarian service as the chairperson of the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC).
