Side No. 1 was the biggest side â the coronavirus. From mid-March to the end of December, it dominated every newscast.
Side No. 2 involved departures that involved many media voices and faces. Some retired. Some retired for a while and then left for other employment. The movement was hectic.

1. Brad Davis ends his career
Brad Davis never really retired â he was last heard from in January and Gary Byron took over his morning show on WDRC-AM1360. Davis started on WTIC-TV3 in 1959 with a dance party show and did just about everything you can do in the media, from investigative reporting to political talk show host. Davis is one of the few Connecticut media members who actually can be called a legend.
