If the ghost of Christmas past were to take you back to the turn of the last century (1911), you might come across an actual letter in the Townsman written by a young woman named Phyllis.
Phyllis happens to be back home in Andover on her Christmas break from college, and she is dreading the Christmas shopping yet to be done.
