Kothagudem: COVID Positive Naxals Urged To Seek Medical Care May 10, 2021, 11:55 IST With an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Telangana, the Bhadradri-Kothagudem police have urged Maoists who have tested positive for COVID-19 to surrender. Bhadradri Kothagudem Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt in a media statement said that they have got information regarding numerous Maoist activists and leaders testing positive for COVID-19, but they were not able to receive medical help. According to a leading English daily, SP Sunil Dutt stated, Members of CPI (Maoist), including a few leaders in  the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border areas, and the Dandakaranya special zonal committee, had contracted the coronavirus.
