Promotions, events await River Dragon fans

The game of baseball won t be the only crowd lure at Lloyd Hopkins Field this summer.
Alton s new summer collegiate team, the River Dragons, will have plenty of promotions and events for fans to enjoy throughout their inaugural season.
It was previously announced that NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick will host 90s Night on June 17, but there s more slated between May and August.
To start the year off, May 27, Opening Night, will include fireworks and a magnet schedule. Dueling Pianos will be at the ballpark on May 28, and post-game fireworks again on May 29.
