He’s probably never heard the Mills Brothers’ No. 1 hit from 1944, “You Always Hurt the One You Love,” but it kind of nails Jarret Young’s relationship with his top track event.
The St. John’s Prep of Danvers senior, a Haverhill resident, says the 400 is “the hardest event in track, in my opinion, but it’s the only one I’ve ever really focused on.”
