Full Circle: YL Hooi & The Journey From Tape To Wax Untitled, the debut album by local electronica artist YL Hooi, was Triple R’s Album of the Week just last week. Initially released through Altered States Tapes as a cassette in late 2019, it’s been re-issued on deluxe vinyl through Efficient Space. Full Circle’s Millú chats with the artist about Untitled’s journey from tape to wax, collaborating with LST’s Tarquin Manek, and the gear she used to achieve the ethereal, dream-like sounds that run rampant on her “collage-y” work of art.
