CHELMSFORD  A landscaper sustained life-threatening injuries Saturday after police said he became pinned by snow-removal equipment. Police said the incident, which appears accidental, remains under investigation. Public safety officials have requested assistance from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for the investigation. In a press release, Police Chief James Spinney said rescuers responded about 8:49 a.m. on Dec. 19 to an alley behind a commercial plaza at 2 Alpine Lane. They had received a 911 call from a worker, stating he heard a man yelling for help.  Responders found the victim, a 30-year-old Lowell man, pinned between one of the arms of a skid-steer loader, and one of its tires.
