No details on new public health orders yet, as Manitoba reports slight jump in daily COVID-19 cases
Manitoba s current pandemic restrictions are set to expire at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, but a significant relaxation of those rules is unlikely, a health official said Thursday, as the province announced 208 new COVID-19 cases and a dozen more deaths from the illness.

Public health officials advise 12 additional deaths in people with COVID-19 have been reported today including:
• a male in his 30s from Northern health region;
• a male in his 60s from Prairie Mountain Health;
• a female in her 90s from Prairie Mountain Health, linked to the outbreak at Fairview Personal Care Home;
• a female in her 60s from the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region;
• a female in her 50s from the Winnipeg health region;
• a female in her 60s from the Winnipeg health region, linked to the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg;
• a female in her 70s from the Winnipeg health region;

Public health officials advise 12 additional deaths in people with COVID-19 have been reported today including one female in her 60s from the Southern Health Region and eight people from the Winnipeg Health Region. The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 9.9 per cent provincially and 10.5 per cent in Winnipeg.
As of Thursday morning, 208 new cases of the virus have been identified, however, seven were removed due to data corrections making the net new total 201, which brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 25,742.
