The Alnwick Garden Trust experienced its most successful ever December in 2020. It welcomed over 30,000 visitors to its Christmas Light Trail, an increase of 300% on the previous year. Additionally, over 2,000 families enjoyed the Charity s extremely popular Father Christmas experience, that was modified into an outdoor event to ensure COVID safety. In terms of social impacts, the Charity was able to deliver over 150 Christmas hampers to vulnerable and isolated older people in the local community. As per lockdown regulations, The Alnwick Garden closed on 31 December 2020.
