The concert was sponsored by the Krystal Chindori-Chininga Foundation (KCCF), which is an Afro-feminist organisation dedicated to empowering young women and girls in Zimbabwe
Previous concerts have been hosted at venues such as First Floor Gallery Harare, Alliance Francaise de Harare, Ela The Garden, and Vanilla Moon, as well as at a private residence in Highlands.
Max has recorded three albums with Universal Africa: Sagiya, Friends and Strangers, and his latest Time and Changes. Sagiya was nominated for the Metro Awards in 2005.
