Carson City Juvenile Services’ newest employee Tofi, a Labrador Retriever, was brought to the Board of Supervisors today to be introduced to the BOS and community of Carson City. She is a Hungarian Labrador Retriever, who initially began her career as a K-9 Deputy with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
The Carson City Juvenile Services Probation Committee re-appointed Sheriff s Office Sgt. Daniel Gonzales on Wednesday to the Carson City Juvenile Services Probation Committee.
Carson City Juvenile Services will host gang awareness and prevention workshops for parents this Thursday, March 9 in Spanish and again Thursday, March 16 in English.
Featured speaker at Monday s Democratic tele-luncheon will be Ali Banister, Chief Juvenile Probation Officer for Carson City Juvenile Services. In addition to those duties, she also serves as an adjunct professor at Western Nevada College teaching juvenile law.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Carson City Chamber recognized a dozen extraordinary women who are making history today at a special luncheon held at the Gold Dust West on Thursday, March 15. Cliff Sorensen, Director, Campagni Auto Group, served as Master of Ceremonies and proudly posed with each honoree as they received their award.
