Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani today participated in ‘Qatar Beautification and Our Kids Planting trees’ campaign at the 5/6 Park. The campaign aims to plant a million trees and is organized by the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
The Prime Minister joined Qatar kids in planting trees and also inspected artworks by a group of artists in Qatar.
The visit was attended by H E Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality and Environment (MME), Dr Eng. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani on Sunday visited Park 5/6 and witnessed the progress of a campaign that seeks to beautify Qatar and plant one million trees. It is being carried out by the Supervisory Committee on Beautification of Roads and Public Places in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
The PM participated with a number of Qataris in planting trees in support of the campaign and viewed artworks created by a number of Qatari and resident artists.
