Reporter federal officials in boston announced the arrest of 23yearold Alexander Ciccolo the son of Boston Police captain Robert Ciccolo ciccolo. A Police Source told nbc news captain ciccolo reported his son to the fbi after learning he was allegedly plotting an isisinspired attack. According to court documents, ciccolo goes by the name Ali Al Amriki and was arrested july 4th after receiving four guns from an undercover agent. The g

Reporter according to investigators, 23yearold Alexander Ciccolo was arrested on july 4th with two rifles and two handguns. An f. B. I. Search of his home found two machetes, a long, curved knife and several partially constructed molotov cocktails. Court papers say he planned to use the cache of weapons in an isisinspired attack at a State University. Sources say ciccolos father, robert, a captain in the Boston Police department, alerted authorities last fall that his estranged son had a long history of Mental Illness and had become obsessed with islam.
