WYCOMBE REACHED the FA Cup fourth round for only the third time in their history thanks to a dominant 4-1 win over Preston.
The game saw Ireland international Jayson Molumby make his debut for Alex Neil’s side.
The midfielder, who has five caps for his country, joined the club on loan recently, after finding first-team opportunities limited at parent club Brighton.
The 21-year-old Waterford native was one of several Irish players on display.
Ex-Ireland underage international Joe Rafferty started for Alex Neil’s side, while Sean Maguire and Alan Browne both came off the bench. Meanwhile, former Dundalk winger Daryl Horgan made a substitute appearance for the hosts.

Today is the day, people! For many, the FA Cup third round is unquestionably the most exciting day in the English football calendar, when dreams are fulfilled, nightmares are relived and upsets run wild and free.
Saturday s action has lived up to the hype, as we bore witness to the biggest shock of this edition of the competition, as well as some pretty eyebrow-raising results around the grounds.
But where to start? Without further delay, let s get into the FA Cup third round action.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth made five changes to the side that bowed to Boro, with Leicester City loanee Admiral Muskwe making his debut, while Matt Bloomfield, Onyedinma and Dennis Adeniran were back in the team.
With just three minutes after kickoff, Muskwe darted into Preston’s right back before releasing a dangerous ball which Onyedinma headed past goalkeeper Connor Ripley after rising above his marker.
WHAT A START!
Six minutes later, Joe Jacobson doubled the lead from the penalty spot after the referee pointed to the spot after Ikpeazu was brought down by Preston’s Josh Earl.
Some positive play from the home side saw Josh Knight slot the ball low and hard past Ripley for his first goal for the club as Wycombe cruised to a three-goal lead in the 25th minute.
