Paramida’s Love on the Rocks label is set to reissue Peace Division’s Justin Drake and Paranoid London’s Quinn Whalley’s 1993 proto-trance cut ‘State Of Mind (Slack Mix)’ next week.
The track was originally released by the duo on UK label Rhythm Design under their Peyote Dreams alias, while their Slack alias provided the headsier club mix. Both versions are pure euphoric dancefloor gold, but it was the Slack mix that Paramida kept turning to in her record bag after she picked it up in 2016. From there, the idea to reissue the record grew, and now at last it’s set for release on 5th March.
