(WVIR) - A house fire in Albemarle County has left three people without a home. The fire occurred in the 6400-block of Esmont Road. Albemarle County Fire Rescue (ACFR) says crews arrived on scene within minutes, and managed to put out the blaze before it spread. Two adults that lived in the house were evacuated, while one other resident was not home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

(WVIR) - Albemarle County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 6000 block of Hillsboro Lane in Crozet around 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 16. Responding units reported the building was fully involved with flames when they arrived. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and were able to prevent it from spreading to surrounding buildings Officials say the building was vacant and under renovation at the time of the fire.

(WVIR) - A fire at an Albemarle County Daycare on December 12 caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages, but left no one hurt according to Albemarle County Fire Rescue. Fire crews from both the county and the Charlottesville Fire Department responded to calls for a structure fire at We Care Daycare 4Kids just before 4 p.m. The daycare was closed at the time, and the building unoccupied. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze. The fire is estimated to have caused $60,000 in damages.
