Updated: 10:09 AM CDT May 10, 2021 Linda Grantin The Jefferson County Coroner s Office has identified the body found inside a burned RV on last week as 62-year-old Michael Earnest Seals of Bessemer.The coroner released this statement: The decedent was found inside a RV by fire personnel responding to a report of a RV fire at a private residence. The cause and origin of the fire is being investigated by the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office and the circumstances surrounding the death is being investigated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities responded to a report of an RV on fire on private property in the 600 block of Willow Bend Lane at 7:42 a.m.Fire personnel found Seals inside and he was pronounced dead at the scene.The Alabama State Fire Marshal s Office is investigating the fire.The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

BESSEMER The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is working to identify a man found dead after an RV fire on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Fire personnel found the unknown man’s body while reporting to a trailer fire at a private residence in the 600 block of Willow Bend Lane, in Bessemer. The fire happened around 7:42 a.m. and the man was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:55 a.m.
The cause and origin of the fire are being investigated by the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office and the circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Saxton Thomas Davis, Jr., 52, was found by fire personnel responding to the fire.
The fire department got the call about the fire around 11 a.m. It was at a home in the 1400 block of Freda Drive. That’s when they found Davis, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Midfield Police Department is investigating the death.
ADAMSVILLE The Adamsville Police Department is investigating the death of a man found after a house fire.
The fire happened around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
Fire personnel responding to the fire in the 4800 block of Park Avenue, in Adamsville, found Anthony O’Neal Horn, 52, inside the home. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The cause and origin of the fire are being investigated by the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Midfield firefighters, assisted by Fairfield Fire and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, responded to the home on 12th Street North shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A man killed more than a week ago in a Midfield house fire has now been identified.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office Thursday identified the victim as Saxton Thomas Davis Jr. He was 52.
Davis died Tuesday, April 27, in the blaze at his home on Freda Drive. Midfield firefighters, assisted by Fairfield Fire and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, responded to the home shortly before 11:30 a.m. When they arrived, there was heavy fire coming the from the basement, and that quickly spread to the rest of the home.
