There are new signs now posted on doors in the terminals, leading to secured areas of the airport, signs that were not here when abc 7 news shot our story in early july. The signs say there are new restrictions on what airport workers can carry into the secured areas. They are now limited to two small items, like a purse or computer bag. Reporter airport officials also say they have increased random screenings of workers who go into the restricted areas and into planes. And background checks are more thorough.
