EVANSVILLE, Ind. – An hour before, eight-year-old Isla Chappell had been flattened against the back door of Swat Pest Management’s conference room, shaking her head firmly.
“Nope.” She said. “Nope. Nope. Nope.”
Now she was pointing at a spider the size of her hand.
“Can I hold it again?” she asked.

“I think people have a certain reaction to bugs or spiders because we’re told how to react, or we’ve seen how others react,” he said. “I want to educate scientifically and remove things that feed into the fear.”
