Out of the 13,545 UK tractor registrations in 2019 John Deere accounted for 28.1% or 3,800 units claiming pole position.
The most recent UK brand by brand analysis carried out by Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) shows that John Deere (28.1%), CNH (26%) and AGCO (24.6%) led the market share out of the 13,545 new tractors (over and under 50hp) registered during 2019.
Delving into the subsidiaries of CNH and AGCO, the top three selling brands were John Deere with 3,800 units, New Holland with 2,314 and Massey Ferguson with 1,665 registrations. These three manufacturers accounted for 57.5% of new registrations, equating to 7,779 units.
Due to competition regulation, market share data cannot be released until a one year period has passed.

A total of 22 new tractors were registered in November in Northern Ireland, bringing the total 11-month tally to 366 new tractors in 2020, down over 27% on the same period last year (504 units).
Registrations of new tractors in Northern Ireland for the first 11months of 2020 were down 27.4% on the same period in 2019, according to figures from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA).
Figures show that 22 new tractors were registered in November, down from the 30 units registered in the same month last year. The total number of new tractors registered in the region for the first 10months of 2020 is now at 366 units, down considerably from the 504 units registered in the same period in 2019.
