It isnt clear why, but it appears the victims were targeted. This is the 4th shooting on a bay area freeway in the last 2 weeks. And it is concerning for commuters. Pkga chopper landed on eastbound interstate 80 during rush hour traffic to transport a shooting victim that was hit multiple times. The second passenger in the vehicle was transported by ambulance. Sot shootings are very dangerous no matter if theyre on city streets or the freeway. Witnesses were able to describe the shooters. Which led to an all out search. And now 3 people are in custody.
