morning. it started snowing and then it changed to rain so all around the city and the coastal areas, it was pretty wet. the streets of boston are very, very wet. if you look at the bridge behind me, you can see that the highway is pretty well leared right now. they ve done a great job of that. and the precipitation has pretty well stopped right now. the problem is in about an hour, and we can feel it happening right now, is that another wave of cold air is going to move in. the temperature is going to drop by about 10 degrees. that is going to change all this stuff to freezing ice and the roads are going to be a mess. they re saying that the afternoon commute is not going to be a fun time at all. 500 flights were canceled as logan airport including all jetblue frits and american flights. a lot of the schools were canceled here in boston. we re down to two snow daz now. what we re watching right now is the precipitation isn t so bad here in boston, but to the north, they re still getti
