GhanaWeb adjudged Best Online Portal for 2020 election coverage Ghana’s most popular news platform, GhanaWeb, has been adjudged the Best Online Portal at the Ghana Election Coverage Awards 2020 for its comprehensive online coverage of the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections. Organised by Big Events Ghana, organisers of the esteemed Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards, GhanaWeb beat shortlisted platforms myjoyonline.com and peacefmonline.com to win the award. According to the CEO of Big Events Ghana, Prince Mackay, a 9-member awards committee made up of experts was formed to monitor activities of media organisations before, during and after the elections and they were highly impressed by GhanaWeb’s responsible journalism in the coverage of the elections.

Ghana Election Poll gathers opinions about Ghana’s Presidential and Parliamentary Elections The fourth and final wave of the Ghana Election Poll which run from October 1 to November 30, 2020, has come to an end with interesting findings from Ghanaian adults aged 18 years and older who are living within or outside the borders of Ghana. The scientific poll which was conducted online via the renowned market research firm MSI-ACI had 3,010 responses from Ghanaians, a little more than the 2,246 responses recorded in the Third Wave. Ninety-two percent of the respondents were living in Ghana, whilst the rest were living in several countries within Africa, Europe and the Americas. Ninety-five per cent of the respondents in the poll were registered voters, whilst the rest were not registered.
