State arts grants set for this year | News, Sports, Jobs - Adirondack Daily Enterprise

Apr 28, 2021 BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE The ADK Quad-County Decentralization Grant Program of the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts this week announced the recipients of the 2021 grant awards, with funds made available by the New York State Council on the Arts. ALCA’s program is regranting a total of $91,720 for 30 projects throughout the four counties ALCA, as the region’s decentralization grant program site, serves: Clinton, Essex, Franklin and Hamilton. As in previous years, grants of up to $5,000 were available to eligible organizations and artists based in these four counties. Funding decisions were made by a panel of artists and arts advocates who volunteered their time. For each year’s grant cycle, governmental and quasi-governmental entities, tribal organizations and New York state-designated nonprofits are eligible to be direct applicants, as well as serve as fiscal sponsors. 2021 decentralization grant application process open | News, Sports, Jobs

Dec 15, 2020 BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE The 2021 decentralization grant application process is open for the Adirondack Quad-County Region of Clinton, Essex, Franklin and Hamilton counties. Eligible arts organizations and individual artists can submit up to three direct requests in any combination of two categories community arts and arts education totaling up to $5,000, pending a funding determination from New York state. Requirements include reading the guidelines for whichever category one is applying in and attending a free informational seminar with the grant coordinator, which are being held online via Zoom between now and Jan. 15. The deadline for applying, which is an online process, is Jan. 31. Guidelines, the seminar schedule and other information and materials are available in the grants section on the website of the region’s decentralization site, the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, at adirondackarts.org.
