Dive teams are in the icy cold Merrimack River searching for a possible baby and also been a helicopter hovering above with a spotlight searching for the possible baby. We did speak with the Haverhill Fire chief. He tells us the report came from a woman in an apartment complex near the bridge where this baby was supposedly thrown from. She heard a baby crying, looked over and saw a man toss the baby into the river. We got a call about an hour and 15 minutes ago, a little past 8 00, that someone had thrown a baby off the bridge into the water. So we started a search and a couple boats in the water. Its dark.
