Championships. Hungary is the latest european country to see scenes of desperation and chaos at its borders. Overstretched police fired tear gas in an effort to restore order at a refugee processing center. So far, hungarys response to the crisis has involved barbed wire, mounted police and docks. It is now sending 2,000 extra officers to help control the situation and is considering using the army. Hungarian police say every day, more than 2,000 refugees arrive in the country and so far this were, hungary has registered 100,000 refugees top compare that to the whole of 2014, it was 23,000. The country is building a raise door wire fence at the border with syria. We have a report on the desperate journey of thousands of refugees as they head north. Television broadcast. In the last hour, south sudans president has signed a peace deal with rebels, despite serious reservations to end nearly two years of civil war. It was a drawnout process as African Leaders gathered in the capitol of south sudan, juba, to witness this ceremony. We were told it would happen and it did happen that is the president signing the deal about a half hour, 40 minutes ago. Our reporter has all of the details now on the phone. Ana, tell us more. Reporter yes, as you say the president has signed this peace deal, which would seem like a major break through. But unfortunately when he was addressing the audience earlier, he said he did have major reservations about the content of it. [ inaudible ] this isnt the bible, this isnt the quran, these are things that can be revisited. So the implementation then will be interesting, wont it, ana. Because you have one side that signed it, but said i dont want to sign this. So how it gets implemented will be interesting.
