MATTAPOISETT Burning power lines and response calls during Sunday s snowstorm, kept firefighting crews busy.
Engines 1 and 4 were staffed for the storm, but numerous calls meant calling in more firefighters to staff Engine 2, Rescue 1 and Forestry 1, according to a social media post from the fire department.
Knocked down powers line on Acushnet Road caught fire and a fallen limb blocked the roadway.
