Amelia Barrett, 6, had 10inches of hair cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl from Badminton has raised over a thousand pounds for a children’s cancer charity by having over ten inches of hair she has grown her entire childhood, chopped off. Amelia Barrett said during lockdown that she wanted to have her waist-length hair cut and mum Jenna suggested donating it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity who use the hair to make wigs for children undergoing treatment for cancer. Mum Jenna said she assumed Amelia’s initial idea of having her ‘lifetime of hair’ cut off was just something the six-year-old had thought of randomly and that she would change her mind.
