Ngày 8/7, Thái Lan đã ghi nhận thêm 75 ca tử vong do Covid-19 và đây là mức cao nhất theo ngày tại quốc gia Đông Nam Á này.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Bangkok, ngày 27/5, cơ quan y tế Thái Lan ghi nhận số ca tử vong vì COVID-19 theo ngày ở mức cao nhất từ đầu dịch với 47 người không qua khỏi trong 24 giờ qua.
Như vậy, kể từ khi đại dịch bùng phát hồi năm ngoái, Thái Lan đã có 2.462 người không qua khỏi. Trong 24 giờ qua, Thái Lan cũng có thêm 7.058 ca nhiễm mới, nâng tổng số người mắc COVID-19 lên 308.230 ca.
