The annual Tip Top Run at Agua Hedionda Lagoon in Carlsbad has turned into a virtual event this year.
The event, now called the Tip Top Run and Ride for Raptors, kicks off March 13 and runs through March 19.
The running and biking event will raise money for the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s expansion of its educational program, including building the new Raptor Ridge on Cannon Road. The Raptor Ridge will be part of the Discovery Center and will be home to four raptors a peregrine falcon, great horned owl, American kestrel and western screech owl formerly housed at The Raptor Institute, a nonprofit based in La Mesa.
