restrictive, to prohibit access to drugs that the fda has authorized as safe and effective for women to use. we are also hearing from the justice department on the issue of access to abortion clinics and the fact that it s not legal under the freedom of access to clinic entrances act to block people s physical access to walk into an abortion clinic. the justice department saying it s going to make sure that that right is protected. as you can see, these are steps around the margins. this is not the biden administration saying we are going to enforce the ability for women across the country to get an abortion. that s something that only congress can do. that s why we expect a key element of what president biden will have to say to be about the election and making sure to elect politicians who will ensure a woman s right to choose in future. thanks to you, josh. this is andrea mitchell reports with our continuing breaking news coverage of the supreme court s decision overtu
keeping a lot of this under wraps. the committee just announced a surprise hearing for tomorrow with very few details. it s set to begin at 1:00 and the committee is saying they will present what they re calling recently obtained evidence and saying they ll hear more witness testimony. no word yet on what the evidence is or who may be testifying, not even an indication on how many people will be testifying. but there has been this sense that the committee was getting inundated with new information and it was just last week that the committee remember jamie raskin talked after one of the hearings about this deluge of information that the committee had been receiving, including via the tip line they have, and even chairman benny thompson has been calling for more people to come forward. he s done it repeatedly after some of the hearings. we saw last week, that was hearing five, this would be hearing six, and last week showcased some compelling testimony. we saw three former top

order to help people access the health care and abortion services that they need. i anticipate there will be more debate and discussion. or was interesting about the supreme court decision, it gave the authority back to the states to make these decisions. so now that the decision has been made, it will be up to each of the state legislators and people there to talk about their elective representatives about what their laws looked like. we also get a new look at how americans see this decision to overturn roe, from the yougov poll out this morning, it was 41% of americans approved, but nearly 16% 60% disapprove. 67% of women overall in the survey do not agree with this decision. you ve got washington, also in the meantime, still feeling the aftershocks on another topic, a week of bombshell testimony at the january 6th hearings. as folks now brace for more in the coming weeks, this morning, one member of that committee, congressman adam schiff lays out what he thinks the
