India perpetrating HR abuses in IIOJK to suppress freedom struggle
Karachi, January 28, 2021 (PPI-OT): Hurriyat AJK leader, Abdul Hameed Lone, has said that India is perpetrating grave human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to suppress the Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination. He said this while addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club along with Abid Abbasi, Bashir Saduzai, Ayaz Motiwala, Saleem Butt and Sabir Hussain.
He said, “One hundred and seven thousand children have been orphaned in IIOJK. 23,000 women have become widows. More than 14,000 young people are locked up in torture cells in different parts of India who are being subjected to inhumane torture. 8,000 young people are missing. More than 100,000 youth have been martyred, but the international community is not putting pressure on India in this way.” Therefore, he said, we need to intensify diplomacy now. PPP seminar pays respect to former prime ministers Benazir and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto

PPP leaders and participants of the conference pay tribute to PPP leaders Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
BRUSSELS: The PPP s International Conferences and Seminars Forum (ICSF) on Tuesday organised a grand virtual conference to pay tribute to former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his birth anniversary.
Titled “Bayad-e-Bhuttos” (Remembering Bhuttos) the conference consisted of two sessions. The first part was dedicated to slain former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and the second part to her father and PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. The conference was moderated by Saifullah Saify, a senior party leader, poet, music composer and human rights activist.

Missing 10th grader found tortured to death

Two people, including a missing 10th grade student, were found dead in different parts of the city on Friday.
A woman spotted the body of a 14-year-old boy by the riverside in the Khokhrapar area, and informed the police. Cops arrived at the scene and transported the dead to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he was identified as 14-year-old Arif Abbasi, son of Abid Abbasi.
Police said the victimâs father was a secretary at the office of the Qaumi Awami Tehreek in Malir, who said his son had gone missing on December 12 and the family had been unable to find him despite searching for him everywhere.
