38 MPs were referred to the Public Prosecution KUWAIT CITY, March 16: A total of 38 MPs were referred to the Public Prosecution for violating health regulations during the celebration of their victory in the parliamentary elections. The Interior Ministry’s decision to refer those who attended the press conference at the house of former MP Badr Al-Dahoum to the prosecution has snowballed. Several MPs commented on the issue, especially when those referred to the prosecution refused to pay the KD 100 bail. Former MP Abdullah Al-Kandari, who attended the investigations as a lawyer for the accused, said they refused to pay the bail in objection to the discriminatory enforcement of the law and because the case is malicious.
