Financial Literacy News: The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has enhanced National Pension System (NPS) security by adding a new layer called two-factor Aadhaar authentication. Starting April 1, all users logging into the Central Record-keeping Agency (CRA) system with passwords must use this feature, as per the PFRDA circular dated March 15, 2024.
New NPS rule: The Aadhaar-based login authentication will be linked with the present User ID and Password login method, allowing for 2-factor authentication to access the CRA system.
