One man was killed while another man and a boy were seriously injured in a shooting in Newport News Thursday morning. Police responded to the intersection of 74th Street and Roanoke Avenue in the Newmarket neighborhood following a report of a shooting at about 10:52 a.m. Officers found two men with gunshot wounds, one of whom died at the scene.
