they let them go, basically assist them out the door so they don t get deported? the only one in this group that got justice through the criminal court system for joshua, i don t think anybody else has done that. thank you, texas, for that. it does have some sort of there for a long time. i don t think anybody else got justice. sean: we are going to end of this here. i want to personally come over thank you. it s unbelievable, i m sorry so much. you are so strong, i hope you get that meeting. my daughter is so beautiful, really. and your son, the same. thank you. this is not trump s wall, this is america s wall. sean: we can have a door, too. we just want to bet you. steve, thank you. your son, grant, mays anchored so good to see you. thank you so much. i know this is the hardest time for both of you, this just happened the 29th of december.
russian cyber recon out erred i will say where they implant imbeds to disrupt them at a time of their choosing. that s why this is so serious. it is a good thing that this is, you know, has come out. this is a great concern. i m in the camp that says, gee, it s about time. the last sanctions imposed by the last administration on on the 29th of december of 2016. so it has been 15 months. and it was in october when congress almost unanimously on a bipartis bipartisan effort passed sanctions. so finally. thank you very much for your expertise. thanks, alisyn. chris? perfect he segue. guess who we have this morning? russian-born businessman felix
kushner. and others were included, k.t. mcfarland, at the time deputy national security adviser and other transition officials at mar-a-lago on the 29th of december in 2016. so there were a number of people involved in the national security team reporting to donald trump if not including the president-elect. who were involved in these communications. right, and that s very consistent with what i ve thought all along. i was part of a transition back in 2008 with president-elect obama. we were all just finding who was responsible for whom so there s always a tendency to loop in more people than even needed. there would be coordination. i find it inconceivable that general flynn would be somehow freelancing and negotiating with the russians of all people given what had happened during the presidential election with russia. so you know, this i think is rather consistent there would have been coordination about
these conversations. in the e-mails that you have read, that you have been that have been described to you, any indication at that the president knew about these conversations or was involved? well, no, that remains uncertain. michael flynn was briefing him at this time, you know, very frequently, if not every day. and there was actually a call that involved mr. trump, president-elect trump, and all of these aides scheduled for 5 p.m. on the 29th of december, which would, we believe, have been before flynn called the ambassador. the big question lingering behind all this about the e-mails is, you know, why did the president want to shut down the investigation of flynn, which resulted in the guilty plea on friday, and why did he fire james comey when he did shut that investigation down?
the 28th and the call centered around the logistics of setting up a call with the president of russia and the president-elect after he was sworn in. don t you love that pause just before he lesays logistics? spicer says he spoke with him on the 28th, not the 29th. hours later, spicer changed his story. that call took place on the 29th of december, at which time general flynn was asked whether or not he would help set up a call after the inauguration with president putin and then president trump. the only conversation that general flynn had was one to wish him a merry christmas. two, to express his sympathies for the loss of life that occurred during the plane crash that took the lives of their military choir. so spicer comes out to correct. he says he did talk michael flynn did talk to the ambassador on the day that the sanctions were announced but total
