people who will show up at the capitol with a propane tank threatening to blow up the place because they re hearing from republican leaders from donald trump to kevin mccarthy that the election was stolen and they believe it s a call of arms for them to take it back. we have to recognize there s a cost to these deadly lies. it s really two deadly lies that the republicans are telling. the first of course about the election, it s the continued violence and threats of violence. there s a cost for the radicalization that the republicans have put out there to their voters. the other cost is the lie about the vaccines. if the deaths don t concern you, then the actual monetary costs should concern you. we spent $4.6 trillion addressing covid and for the unvaccinated, the kaiser foundation estimates that we have spent 20 billion treating the unvaccinated. so two twin deadly lies right now coming from the republicans literally killing us and costing us financially. one of the questions i hav
inland waterway type projects, also a good idea. some of his work force issues in training also an important consideration. but then that kind of gets us back to the funding issue. right. one thing about the numbers you put up, that $4.6 trillion in total infrastructure needs over ten years, $2.6 of that is being met through current revenue stream. so what we like to focus on is the $2 trillion debt or gap over ten years. so that translates to $200 billion a year. so if you take the president s number of $1.5 trillion, that would equate to $150 billion per year. so that s getting three quarters of the way towards the number we have identified. but not quite all the way there. got it. and assumes that we re actually going to get that sort of money they re talking about. they re proposing something that isn t funded at the moment. it is great to get this focus, about you what do you think about the way the proposal is set up? the federal government puts forward a portion but then

today s race but also expected to add $4.6 trillion to the deficit over the next decade. the standard deduction would be doubled, so with the child tax credit and losing deductions, others are packed, that will stand for people who use those deductions in high-tech states, republicans are calling the strong middle-class tax relief, democrats remind us that individual tax cuts expire eventually but this tax-cut is permanent. i m excited about this moment. it has been 31 years in the making. the tax reform bill is a disaster. it helps the wealthiest, most powerful corporations and hurts the middle-class. the senate likely a day later, the senate normally goes first but they hope for extra time for senators to get back to work. the president said he wants a tax bill on his desk by christmas. congress will deliver it a few days early.
