talked about the charges, but some of the other big names in here also indicted. i mean, you have rudy giuliani that trump attorney former new york mayor mark meadows, white house chief of staff for president trump john eastman, his lawyer that was talking about this particular effort to overturn the election. jeff clark, the top justice department official , who was set to take over protect, potentially for bill barr, jenna ellis trump campaign lawyer. other names on here. sidney powell, who obviously was a trump lawyer during that time, other gop officials from georgia and publicist but you have 18 people, including the former president facing these charges , and the specifics in here is really what i was trying to read. need in as you. you all were talking to see how funny willis is going to string it together because the part of the rico is that you re going to have 234 criminal acts that
her into it, as if she was a friend when she clearly was not. we don t have the indictment. it is a 41 count indictment. there are 19 defendants listed. former president donald trump is one of them. the first charge listed, count one on this 41 count indictment is the violation of the georgia rico act, racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations, which is a resident think, and also a specific think with a minimum five year prison term associated with it. it looks like the defendants charged under the rico act this specifically, or all of them, all 19 of them charged as being part of that criminal organization. as we await comments from fulton county district attorney fani willis, let us go to our nearly burst friend, andrew weissmann. and, do i think we can go to you now to get your first reaction on this indictment. well, it does look like what we have is one indictment, not nine others to count. although we don t know for sure.
