Man Clocked At 142 MPH On New Hampshire Highway
Now that s hauling ass.
New Hampshire State Troopers working together last night at about 8 on Route 16 in Rochester stopped a blur and got a Massachusetts man to pull over and stop after being clocked driving 142 miles per hour.
When Troopers got the Porsche to pull to the side by the Rochester Toll Plaza, they arrested 20 year-old Christopher N. Fren Franklin, Massachusetts. Fren now faces a Reckless Driving charge in New Hampshire which could result in a minimum fine of $500 and a suspension of license for six months.
Fren certainly is a Porsche fan, and after looking over some of his social media posts, may even be part of a car club in the Boston area. One You Tube video shows Fren transporting a Christmas tree tied to the top of his car as he drives through a tunnel and the street of Boston. Another video shows him racing his Porsche across an abandoned airfield somewhere.

With the 2021 legislative session barely underway, law enforcement groups are already hard at work to pass Senate Bill 39, which would shield cops from increased public scrutiny. The proposed legislation would override a pair of 2020 state Supreme Court decisions intended to improve the odds of the public gaining access to internal investigations into police misconduct, under th

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) A New Hampshire state trooper who was shot last month after stopping a vehicle in Dalton has been released from a hospital.
Trooper Matt Merrill had been hospitalized in critical condition following the shooting on Dec. 23. Authorities said Merrill exchanged gunfire with Mark Clermont, 45, during a traffic stop. Clermont died. The attorney general’s office is investigating.
State police said Merrill is continuing his recovery.
“We are hopeful that Trooper Merrill and his family will be able to recover from the physical, mental and emotional injuries,” the New Hampshire Troopers Association said in a statement. “The outpouring of support from the thousands of people who showed how much they care for our trooper is amazing, and we are still at a loss for words. ”
