Pres. Biden sends Congress Immigration Bill
Pres. Joe Biden is sending the U.S. Congress a new immigration bill that will lead citizenship to over 11 million people living illegally in the country. He sent the bill after he was inaugurated as the 46th President in the country yesterday, Wednesday.
According to Newsmax, the proposed bill will overhaul the immigration policies set by the previous administration that limits processing immigration applications and bans some nations to get inside the country.

Biden also announced additional members to the Office of the First Lady Incoming First Lady Jill Biden has named Indian-American Garima Verma as her digital director and Michael LaRosa press secretary, the Biden transition team said here.
Biden also announced additional members to the Office of the First Lady, picking Rory Brosius to be the new executive director of the Joining Forces initiative.
Verma, who was born in India, grew up in Ohio and the Central Valley of California. She served as an audience development and content strategist on the Biden-Harris campaign, the transition team said on Thursday.

Biden s Inaugural Committee Will Return $500 Donation
Former Senator Barbara Boxer donated an amount of $500 for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. But the inaugural committee decided to return her donation after they found out that she registered as a foreign agent for a Chinese surveillance firm.
According to a report in Axios, the firm was accused of abetting the country s mass internment of Uighur Muslims.
This shows that the incoming administration will try to balance its sweeping ethics commitments with K Street s efforts to enlist high-profile Democrats to advance clients interests in Biden s Washington.

Advocate General K-P Shumail submits synopsis in the apex court
Following the Punjab government, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Saturday backed presidential reference, seeking guidance from the Supreme Court on the PTI-led federal government s plan to amend the Election Act 2017 through an ordinance to allow the use of open-ballot at the upcoming Senate elections.
Advocate General K-P Shumail has submitted the synopsis in the apex court.
The statement said that the edifice of democracy in Pakistan, rests on a system of free and fair elections and that parliamentary democracy is a basic feature of the Constitution .
