Premium Content Subscriber only A robber who donned a full chemical suit before spraying Coast pharmacy staff with a suspicious liquid and threatening them with a bomb has eluded police for the six years since the shocking crime. The man entered the Twin Waters Pharmacy on Ocean Dr in a hazmat suit about 12.15pm on January 15, 2015 and yelled that he was carrying rat poison and a bomb. The offender spent 40 minutes at the Twin Waters shopping centre before he committed the crime. At the time detectives said they are very concerned that the wanted man was still at large. Sunshine Coast Criminal Investigation Branch officer-in-charge Daren Edwards this week said police were unable to identify the man.

Bail refused as woman faces machete, cop assault charges

The list of charges against Philipa Ellen Anne Finn, 22, from North Booval, include two counts of serious assault police by biting/spitting; not complying with the duties of a driver involved in a crash on the Cunningham Highway on November 18, 2020; going armed with intent to break or enter; driving while UIL; possession of a knife in public at North Booval on July 5, 2020; trespass; causing wilful damage; three counts of common assault; going armed with intent to break or enter at Leichhardt on January 13 this year; entering premises by break; contravening a police direction; and failing to appear at court.

As a boy living with his family in Trumper St, East Ipswich in 1974, he experienced the devastation inflicted on a city unprepared for such an environmental disaster. With his own house under more than two metres of water in 74, Mr Neumann s family fled to North Booval, only to be forced to evacuate a second time when the Bremer River rose there. He still remembers the vital contribution made by then-councillor Des Freeman and his wife Colleen in helping flood victims.
