NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - West Essex Regional School District’s Supervisor of Social Studies, World Languages and ESL, Laura Drago presented an update to the Board of Education during the meeting held on May 10.
This is an ongoing initiative whereby the academic supervisors report on highlighted initiatives and programming in their respective departments. Supervisors have also put the spotlight on alumni who have continued their studies and careers in areas that relate to the individual departments.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ The West Essex Regional Board of Education began its meeting on April 14 recognizing two high school seniors who reside in Essex Fells, Avery Shaw and Emma Saccone, for their volunteerism and work with the West Essex First Aid Squad (WEFAS).
Joining the board was Peter Nancoz, president of the WEFAS who acknowledged and thanked the students for their commitment to the community.

CALDWELL, NJ Caldwell Borough Council President Christine Schmidt introduced a resolution during the March 9 borough council meeting that establishes an annual award to recognize women who have made outstanding contributions to the community.
“March is Women’s History month and Councilwoman DePalma-Iozzi and I have been working together to find a valuable way to make a tribute to women in our community,” Schmidt said. “We feel it is important to recognize women in our community for their accomplishments and contributions so that women and girls here in Caldwell can be seen and inspire through example. Councilwoman DePalma-Iozzi and I are proud to present what we hope will be an annual Caldwell tradition during Women’s History month for many years to come.”
