The first Greek independent Observatory of restrictive measures that governments of countries around the world implemented from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, GovRM-COVID19 (Government Restrictive Measures – COVID19), has been created in the Centre for Research on Democracy and Law Research (CEDLAW) of the Department of International and European Studies of the University
of Macedonia.

In the lead up to the G7, an online event aimed at Cornish small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is set to highlight how Cornish eHealth businesses and new technologies can tackle some of the most pertinent health challenges today.
The inaugural eHealth Innovation Summit 2021 will take place online on Wednesday 9 June, 9:30 – 11.30am, and will showcase how Cornish eHealth businesses and new technologies are supporting care, health-related fields and wellbeing through innovation.

The cost of private education in the UK increased at its slowest rate on record this year, as demand from Gulf countries surged during the pandemic with parents seeking face-to-face teaching for their children.
Fees at British private schools increased 1.1 per cent in 2021, according to the Independent School Council’s annual census, compared with a 4.1 per cent increase in 2020, with the average annual fee for independent schools now £15,191 ($21,458) for day pupils and £36,000 for boarders.

According to the academic group, the policies and actions of China towards the West Philippine Sea “continue to be a serious concern” in the Philippine-China relations.
Over 200 Chinese militia vessels have been spotted mooring the Julian Felipe reef, according to the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS). There were also two People’s Liberation Army Navy vessels seen in Bajo de Masinloc.
Julian Felipe Reef, also known as the Whitsun, located some 175 nautical miles east of Bataraza, Palawan.
The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) has affirmed the Philippines’ jurisdiction over the Julian Felipe Reef.
