BURR RIDGE, IL A Burr Ridge resident who has complained about noise from the nearby County Line Square praised the Village Board last week.
Resident Jennifer Fox was responding to trustees statements at a meeting last week. They said they were disappointed in the noise coming from Capri Ristorante, the most recent complaints coming from Fox. I was pleasantly surprised to see that several of you (finally) spoke up about your disappointment, in light of the assurances that noise complaints were being taken seriously, when clearly they are/were not, Fox said in an email to village officials. BURR RIDGE, IL A Burr Ridge woman who was against a planned bar in County Line Square months ago has apparently changed her mind.
On Monday, Dr. Nikki Bekteshi spoke during a public hearing about the proposed Are We Live? establishment, proposed by businessman Filippo Gigi Rovito.
Later in the evening, the Plan Commission approved the lounge, despite concerns from neighbors about parking and noise. The matter goes to the Village Board.
Burr Ridge Chief of Police John Madden said his department has warned the Capri Ristorante “verbally and in writing” of allegedly being in violation of Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s Nov. 2 order banning indoor dining throughout the state.
Madden said the department responded to the restaurant, allegedly finding it operating in violation of the governor s ban, after receiving a complaint from a village resident that the restaurant had been serving customers indoors. The chief also said that all restaurants in the village will be held to the same standards.
“If violations are reported, BRPD will respond, investigate, document and warn the business owner to comply,” Madden said in response to an email request from the
