A neighboring congresswoman, Marjorie Newman, put an LGBTQ flag on her office door, which led to MTG putting a sign up directly across the hallway: “There are TWO genders. MALE & FEMALE. Trust the Science!” Newman didn’t appreciate the sentiment given that she has a transgender child.

Representative Adam Kinzinger, an Illinois Republican, appeared to defend Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat, after she was aggressively confronted by Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican.
On Wednesday, Greene followed Ocasio-Cortez out of the House chamber in Congress and falsely accused her of sympathizing with terrorists,

Greene yelled at Ocasio-Cortez as the New York progressive proceeded to walk away, only once turning to throw up her hands in exasperation with the far-right GOP lawmaker. Marjorie Taylor Greene Denies ‘Screaming’ at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Greene told reporters on Thursday that she was just talking to her and seeking discussion about legislation.
“Screaming is what people do when rockets are fired at them, like Hamas terrorists are firing into Israel,” Greene said. “They scream when that happens, I was talking to AOC saying ‘you need to debate me about the Green New Deal,’ that’s her legislation, she should be able to defend it for the American people.”
The incident in question was reported by Washington Post reporters who asserted that as Ocasio-Cortez was walking away from the House chamber, Greene shouted “Hey Alexandria” twice to try to get her attention, but she didn’t stop walking, so Greene walked toward her and started asking why she supports Antifa and Black Lives Matter, saying that they are terrorist groups.

“For me, this isn t even about how I feel. It s that I refuse to allow young women, people of color, people who are standing up for what they believe, to see this kind of intimidation attempts by a person who supports white supremacists in our nation’s Capitol,” she continued.

Greene is facing blowback from Democrats off the heels of a Washington Post report that she harassed Ocasio-Cortez on Wednesday and shouted at her as the two left the floor.
