Kayla Brown, a junior and first-generation student at East Carolina University, said there were many unknowns beginning with the college application process, figuring out how to apply for financial aid, and completing other paperwork that is needed to simply be a student.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 15, 2021) Incoming students at the University of Kentucky are most likely overwhelmed by all of the new faces they see. During their first week on campus, they meet people in their residence halls, in classrooms and even just walking around campus. While some of these people may not be a part of their Wildcat family today, they probably remember and recognize their fellow students that helped welcome them during their transition to campus.
