Zondo commission: Ministers, DGs attended ANC study groups before oversight meetings

Ministers and DGs would attend ANC study groups, the Zondo commission has heard from former ANC MP Zukiswa Rantho.
The ANC caucus in 
the Fourth Parliament also didn't discuss allegations of corruption and undue influence that were in the public domain.
Party leaders sometimes prevented MPs from probing politically sensitive matters.
ANC MPs would caucus with ministers and directors-general before meetings in which they were expected to hold them accountable, a former ANC MP testified at the Zondo commission of inquiry into state capture.

The first person to testify before the commission on Tuesday was former ANC MP Zukiswa Rantho, who chaired the National Assembly's Portfolio Committee on Public Enterprises.
